Upper Mission in Southeast Kelowna is easily one of the most breathtaking communities in the entire city with sweeping views of downtown Kelowna, Okanagan Lake, the mountains and the valleys.
The Mission gets its name from the Okanagan Mission which was founded by Father Pandosy and was the first non Native settlement in the Okanagan Valley. Getting to the Mission is easy as there are two ways in, one straight up Gordon Drive and the other straight up Lakeshore Drive, both commutes will get you to where you want to be. Make sure to take note of the amazing views and all the vineyards and orchards along the way.
As you roll up Lakeshore Drive towards Upper Mission in Southeast Kelowna, make sure to stop at some of the restaurants and shops in the Pandosy district. Grab a coffee at the bean scene or a beer and nachos at The Mission Tap House or lunch at Famoso.
